Below are the biographies of the MadeWell Obstetrics & Gynecology team.

Yolanda Lawson, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Yolanda Lawson MD, Board Certified OBGYN and Associate Attending at Baylor University Medical Center, has a genuine passion for the physical, emotional and overall health of women. She dedicates her energy and time to maintaining the excellence of which MadeWell Obstetrics and Gynecology was built upon: Providing superior, organic healthcare with diplomacy, concern and respect.
She earned her M.D. at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She performed her internship at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed her residency at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Lawson offers a broadened approach to healthcare likely due to her extensive exposure at several major medical centers.
Dr. Lawson is a member of the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Dallas County Medical Society, sits on a variety of boards and volunteers among many other community activities and organizations. These are all accomplishments that attribute to Dr. Lawson's commitment and while her studies include the latest of educational, innovative healthcare techniques and technology she knows that women are not textbooks. She continues to expand upon her knowledge while maintaining a spirit of charity with volunteer work.

Maureen Brogan, W.H.N.P.-BC

Maureen Brogan is a dually certified Nurse Practitioner in both Women’s and Family Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science Nursing at Southern Illinois University and Masters of Science Nursing at Texas Woman’s University. She completed the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford Connecticut. Also, she is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Additionally, Maureen is an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Texas Woman’s University.
Maureen uses her knowledge, experience, and medical evidence to care for the whole person and create a partnership with the patient. She strives to assist individuals in making informed health decisions through teaching and ensuring understanding of one’s health status. Her skill set allows patients to become proactive partners in their health care.
